OWL’S NEST PRIVATE RESIDENCE
OBJECTIVE: To create an ADA apartment reminiscent of the height of James Bond’s life — both the vintage and the modern cases & adventures
SPACE: The Owl’s Nest Private Residence, located in the Upper East Side of New York, was designed as cooperative residence for elders. The apartment pays homage to the architectural significance of the spaces in James Bond films. The apartment meets ADA standards.
CLIENTS: Both Mr. Bond and Miss Moneypenny are retired MI-6 agents who are retiring to a space occupied by other former British agents in New York. Before retiring, Mr. Bond was injured during one of his missions abroad. As a result, he now requires an apartment that has been adapted to fit his new lifestyle.
